Under the direction of the Digital Solutions Company Manager, the PLM/BIM Digital Model Coordinator participates in the development of 3D digital models necessary for the realization of PLM/BIM collaborative projects.
The job is mainly to harmonize and monitor the work of all teams, with Smartplant software and the digital database. The PLM/BIM Coordinator has a central role in a Building Information Modeling project. His mission is to manage and direct all the actors of a modeling project within a project. In addition to this work, there may be the additional task of modelling.
Your role
Implement digital mock-ups in their IT environment.
Integration of interdisciplinary digital models.
Control the quality of digital mock-ups.
Assists with modeling of digital mock-up components with CATIA V5/3DEXPERIENCE/Smartplant, Revit, Tekla.
Assists in the coordination for the use of a collaborative platform.
Respond to data requests.
Optimize work processes on models.
Assist in the start-up and monitoring of the project in connection with the specifications of a call for tenders.
Support all the interlocutors in the production of the project and in the proper use of the models.
Assists in the development of libraries of digital objects.
Identify interference points in mockups and maintain a conflict report.
Design/update PLM/BIM project templates.
Assists in the coordination of a work team.
Assists in the management of the digital database.

About you
Education Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or other relevant field.
Must be able to secure Reliability clearance with the Government of Canada.
3-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
The candidate must have experience with 3D design tools such as SmartPlant, Revit, Tekla or other software.
Be familiar with PLM or BIM processes, and relevant standards (eg. ISO 19650).
A good general knowledge of construction and facilities engineering.
Have a good understanding of the workflow, as it relates to the PLM or BIM process.
Has a strong knowledge of computer systems (Windows, etc.).
Excellent methodical, rigorous and organizational qualities.
Familiarity with Smartplant is an asset.
Familiarity with the Nuclear industry is an asset.
Has a keen interest in collaborative work.
Ability to work independently.

Expected compensation for this role is $100,200- $137,700. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
