Your role
- Review and process the power connection requests from residential and industrial/commercial customers.
- Assist Engineers to develop plan and profile drawings of Overhead lines and installation details of underground Cables for Primary and Secondary parts of distribution network in coordination with engineers.
- Perform simple estimates using data from the utility material database.
- Work closely with peers and other discipline designers to ensure accurate delivery that will meet utility.
- Standards, industry standards and meet good engineering practices, policies and procedures.
- Maintain good working relationship with internal groups that support the project.

About you
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from a recognized University.
- Experience in the field of Electrical Distribution network and interaction/participation in technical discussions with the customers
- Exposure to Toronto Hydro Engineering and Construction Standards will be an asset.
- Reasonable proficiency in AutoCAD, Bentley MicroStation, ProjectWise and Electronic Document Management Systems is an asset.
- Good written and verbal communication skill.
