Take part in a major public transit project that will shape the future of mobility in Québec.
This large‑scale infrastructure project requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and involvement in the design of advanced technical systems. You will contribute to planning and implementing innovative solutions that meet engineering standards, energy‑efficiency requirements and sustainability principles.
We are looking for an Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) in Building Electrical Engineering to join our growing team in Québec City and contribute to the success of this major project that will have a concrete impact on society!
Your Role
-Design, model (using Revit MEP) and produce plans for building systems and networks such as:
Lighting systems and lighting control systems (online and network‑based);
Power distribution and electrical service systems;
Auxiliary systems related to security and video surveillance;
Fire alarm systems;
Telecommunications, IP telephony and wireless network systems;
-Perform electrical design calculations using specialized software;
-Follow up on design‑related questions and technical documentation;
-Prepare technical reports and studies;
-Draft technical specifications;
-Estimate construction costs;
-Conduct construction site monitoring;
-Provide support to clients and technical staff;
-Participate in and ensure coordination between professionals.
About You
Holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a focus on building systems or an equivalent education (or in the process of obtaining it and eligible for the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec);
Relevant experience: internships or academic projects in electrical design for commercial buildings, telecommunications infrastructure or industrial facilities;
Strong proficiency with computer tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook;
Experience with database‑driven software (asset);
Experience with site visits and technical surveys (asset);
Proficiency in French, both spoken and written.
