Overview
We are seeking an Environmental Consultant to join our growing team in this role in AtkinsRéalis Global Technology Centre (GTC); you will collaborate with multidisciplinary technical specialists and contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects.
Your role
- Support the preparation and delivery of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), screening/scoping reports, and environmental statements.
- Assist in environmental planning and consenting activities, including evidence gathering, baseline studies, and policy review.
- Prepare technical sections such as Land Use, Socioeconomics, Environmental Management, and Sustainability.
- Conduct desktop research, data analysis, GIS mapping support, and preparation of constraints plans.
- Coordinate with internal disciplines (ecology, transport, utilities, planning, air quality, etc.) to compile environmental inputs.
- Support the development and implementation of Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and environmental mitigation measures.
- Draft high-quality technical reports, presentations, and client deliverables.
- Assist senior consultants in project management tasks—programme tracking, documentation, QA/QC, and reporting.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders professionally when required.
