Overview
Your role
Reporting to the Geotechnical Team Lead, the position holder is responsible for the financial and administrative aspects of projects assigned by project engineers. This includes developing, planning, coordinating, and controlling financial issues in collaboration with various professionals. They determine the administrative structure and procedures required to meet financial performance indicators. Specifically, you will:
- Manage contractual and administrative documents (compliance, accuracy) and establish performance indicators (KPIs) using existing tools.
- Support, analyze, and consolidate internal partners' needs to achieve objectives.
- Act as an advisor to internal partners, providing recommendations to project managers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Participate in implementing appropriate methodologies for effective project management that meets quality standards, budgets, and timelines.
- Analyze monthly reports (SAP BO) to document any changes or variances in financial and schedule forecasts (Upside/Downside).
- Gather information on actual project progress to establish the Cost Performance Index and Schedule Performance Index.
- Attend bi-weekly or monthly meetings to communicate and explain project performance (costs and schedule), collect information on project development (actual progress, completed steps, upcoming/submitted change requests), and other relevant details.
- Track, reconcile, and document accounts receivable and payable.
- Coordinate/perform various activities related to project execution and control (project opening, status updates, timesheets, project plan tracking, change requests, scheduling, closure process, etc.).
- Ensure follow-up and support for preparing, submitting, and executing change requests when required.
- Manage, monitor, and analyze project files (cost tracking, hours, client purchase orders, supplier purchase orders, budget forecasts, and more).
- Prepare billing instructions in collaboration with project managers and validate the compliance of provisional invoices produced by billing agents according to contract terms.
- Attend monthly billing meetings with project managers (complete and track billing requests).
- Collaborate with the cost control team to define project structure based on contract requirements, deliverables, billing, and progress tracking.

About you
The Financial Project Coordinator We're Looking For:
- College or university degree in accounting, finance, business administration, engineering, project management, or another relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial project tracking.
- Experience in consulting engineering is an asset.
- Written and spoken proficiency in French and English (bilingualism required).
- Ability to speak Hindi and/or Romanian is an asset.
- Enjoy autonomy.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to simplify financial information for technical professionals.
- Good knowledge of the following software: SAP BO, Kofax MarkView, Oracle.
