Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Lead Designer – BIM to join our team in Bengaluru. This role involves working on multi-disciplinary projects executed offshore, providing high-quality design solutions to our international clients
Your role
Responsibilities
As a Designer within the Bridges team, you will:
- Produce high-quality BIM models and detailed drawings for highway and railway bridge projects
- Ensure adherence to technical quality standards throughout the design process.
- Deliver projects on schedule and within budget, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with Canada-based clients, providing responsive and client-focused service.

Requirements
Essential
- 8–12 years of experience in BIM after completing a Diploma / B.E in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Proven expertise in preparing detailed structural design drawings for various types of bridge structures across all project phases (from concept to commissioning).
- Proficiency in setting up Revit and CAD standards in consultation with clients.
- Expertise in creating drawing sheets from Revit 3D models.
- Knowledge of reinforcement detailing in both 2D and 3D platforms based on project requirements.
- Ability to assist the BIM Manager in developing and enforcing BIM documentation, workflow processes, and standards.
- Skilled in creating families for bridge and structural components as required.
- Experience in providing technical training and mentoring junior technicians.
- Capable of working independently on smaller projects and leading a team of technicians on larger projects.
- Strong coordination skills with other discipline technicians involved in the project
- Commitment to quality control during drawing production and adherence to company quality standards throughout the project lifecycle
- Ability to evaluate, follow up, and organize meetings to clarify requests for information, ensuring the team has sufficient data to proceed effectively.
Desirable
- Advanced proficiency in Revit Structure, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
- Work experience in High-speed rail projects.
