Overview

AtkinsRéalis one of the world's leading providers of engineering professional consulting and support services with offices across Ireland is seeking to continue our growth to support the ongoing implementation of the Irish National Development Plan.

We have an opportunity for an experienced professional to lead the delivery of Owners Engineer service across the Energy sector for a range of clients and projects including power grid, power generation and energy storage. The individual will join our exciting and fast-moving Infrastructure team as we continue our growth into the Energy market. The successful candidate will work directly within our Project Delivery Practice and shall be ideally based in our Dublin Office, with the option to work remotely within Ireland in a hybrid work environment.

Your role

  • Management of delivery of Owners Engineer services to energy clients.
  • Client and Framework management.
  • Management of multi-disciplined teams to the successful delivery of the project to agreed targets, e.g., programme, budget, and quality.
  • Design Coordination.
  • Flexibility to support both offshore and onshore projects.
  • Tender and Proposal Development.

About you

  • Experience in a technical consultancy environment. Relevant experience of coordinating the delivery of Owners Engineer services in Ireland or internationally.
  • Experience in Energy projects eg: power generation, power grid, renewables, BESS etc (EirGird experience a preferred).
  • Understanding the energy market and opportunity development.
  • A Level 8 Honours Degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management or related field.
  • Chartered Engineer or equivalent with experience managing design commissions on large infrastructure projects.
