Overview
AtkinsRéalis is looking for a ProjectWise Administrator / CDE Administrator to join our Asset & Information Management team.
We are looking for someone with existing hands-on experience of Bentley ProjectWise and Common Data Environment (CDE) administration who is ready to take the next step in their career.
You may already be working as a ProjectWise Administrator, CDE Administrator, EDMS Administrator or in a similar information management role and be looking to broaden your experience across larger and more complex infrastructure projects.
You will join an established team of information management, CDE and digital specialists, working across ProjectWise and a broader range of project technologies. The role provides the opportunity to build on your existing technical capability, work alongside experienced specialists and develop a wider understanding of how information, engineering and digital systems support project delivery.
Your role
As a ProjectWise Administrator / CDE Administrator, you will:
- Administer and support Bentley ProjectWise environments across projects and programmes.
- Configure and maintain users, groups, roles, access permissions and security.
- Configure and maintain project structures, environments, attributes, metadata and document controls.
- Support the configuration and administration of workflows and information approval processes.
- Support project mobilisation, configuration and ongoing CDE management.
- Investigate and resolve ProjectWise issues, working with other administrators and technical specialists where escalation is required.
- Support project teams in the effective use of ProjectWise and associated information management processes.
- Undertake configuration changes within agreed project and AtkinsRéalis governance arrangements.
- Support the testing and implementation of system changes and improvements.
- Assist with data migration, bulk data activities and information transfers.
- Produce and maintain administration documentation, user guidance and configuration records.
- Provide guidance and training to ProjectWise users.
- Work with Information Managers and project teams to understand delivery requirements and translate them into effective CDE configurations.
- Contribute to improving ProjectWise configurations, workflows and working practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues working across other CDE, information management and project technology solutions.

- A good understanding of Common Data Environments and information and document management processes.
- Experience working within engineering, infrastructure, construction or another complex project delivery environment.
- A structured and methodical approach to system administration and problem solving.
- Strong attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of controlled information.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work directly with project users and technical specialists.
- The confidence to work independently on routine administration and configuration while recognising when more complex changes require wider technical
- input.
- An interest in developing your knowledge beyond ProjectWise and gaining experience across a broader project technology and information management
- environment.
Desirable experience
Experience in some of the following would also be beneficial:
- ProjectWise Administrator.
- ProjectWise Explorer and ProjectWise Web.
- ProjectWise environments, attributes and workflow configuration.
- ISO 19650 and associated information management processes.
- Engineering applications such as MicroStation or AutoCAD.
- Other CDE or EDMS platforms.

- PowerShell or other approaches to scripting and automation.
- Data migration, bulk data management or reporting.
Career development
- This role would suit an established ProjectWise or CDE administrator who wants to broaden their experience rather than simply continue operating a single system in isolation.

- Over time, the role provides scope to develop deeper expertise in ProjectWise administration and configuration, while also broadening into areas such as information management, CDE implementation, digital delivery, automation and wider project technology.
