As part of the HR team at Atkins, the HR Coordinator will provide proactive and efficient support to employees and managers across the UK region. This role involves managing a range of HR processes in compliance with UK labour laws, maintaining HR systems (Oracle HRMS), and producing employee correspondence. The coordinator will collaborate closely with internal departments such as immigration, payroll, and finance, while also contributing to process improvements and supporting ad-hoc HR projects.
Your role
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience and expertise in technical knowledge on processes like Lifecycle, Leavers and overall understanding on Hire to Retire process
- Highly organised and professional in managing daily BAU
- Resilient, can work under pressure, doesn't show frustration and lose composure when facing resistance.
- Customer focused, passionate about meeting the requirements and exhibits great collaboration with stakeholders and team members
- Strong interpersonal skills, focused and invested in continuous improvement and has a proven track record for idea generation
- Proactive, works effectively with minimal supervision and contributes for streamlining the processes to drive efficiency.
- Demonstrates high levels of confidentiality.
- Able to multitask by balancing BAU and also participating in ad-hoc HR Projects
- Actively engages with Team and encourages team bonding by great collaboration
About you
- Focused on eye to detail in all the daily tasks/cases that are managed by individual.
- Managing a variety of HR processes in accordance to regional laws (depends on region they support - preferably APAC)
- Producing standard correspondence to employees & parties involved (Line manager, stakeholder, payroll team etc)
- Demonstrate proactiveness in taking up responsibility and delivering BAU
- Contribute in amending SOP's'and collaborating with SME in the team
- Working closely with the SME, team members and build an inspirational journey by contributing towards enhancement ideas and implementation
- Supporting the HR team with ad-hoc projects
- Any other duties as requested by the HR Team Leader
- Experienced in a Shared Services function
- Good IT skills, particularly MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Technical expertise in Workday and Service Now, Lifecycle and Exit process
- Fluent English - excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong administrative ability, managing a complex and varied workload
- Potential to develop as the team grows and has a mindset to stay for long term in the organisation.
