As a Programme Management Trainee in our Project & Programme Services (PPS) team, you'll support the planning, coordination and performance of major projects, working with international teams and leveraging data and digital tools to drive better outcomes.

Through a structured learning experience and real project exposure, you'll build core capabilities across project controls, cost, risk, reporting and quality, developing the skills needed to grow in a global delivery environment.

Project & Programme Management Practice (PPM)

PPS is an integral extension of our Global Project & Programme Management (PPM) practice — empowering teams worldwide with the expertise, insights and digital capabilities needed to deliver complex projects with confidence.

We're looking for ambitious early-career professionals who want to shape the future of Project & Programme Management blending strong delivery fundamentals with innovation and technology to drive smarter, more impactful outcomes and build a career without boundaries.

Your role

  • Assist in the management and reporting of project finances and cash flow that would involve:
    • Use of financial database tools to collate data.
    • Preparation of financial reports in formats defined by the PM.
    • Raising payment certificates and invoice templates.
    • Collating and monitoring cost accruals and invoicing.
    • Tracking spends and contractor timesheets.
    • Producing project KPI dashboards using technological advancements.
  • Maintain project progress-tracking databases and assist the PM in liaising with project teams to record and monitor task progress. Further trainees:
    • Keep a close watch on the project schedule and monitor deadlines for each project task. They ensure that every deadline is attainable and report any potential delays to the project manager.
    • Are the custodians of project information – and the control of it.
    • Manage the release of incoming and outgoing correspondence.
    • Manage registers and file systems to ensure compliance with quality procedures.
    • Assist PM with keeping project KPIs up to date.
    • Assist PM in ensuring compliance as per the Project Plan and keeping the Project Plan updated.
    • Are responsible for maintaining crucial project documents that track project progress, by ensuring their accuracy and acceptance with the PM, and filing them in an appropriate database or library.
  • Provide the support in Quality Assurance:
    • Support audits, reviews, compliance, health checks, gateways, and configuration management.
    • Support project managers or technical leads in implementing correct quality assurance processes and procedure.
  • Analysis and reporting of quality KPI.

About you

  • Project Management / Mobilisation / Program Controls: Basic Engineering Degree with PG in Project Management/Engineering Management/ Construction Management/ MBA with specialisation in Data and Analytics
  • Quantity Surveying: B.E. Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with strong mathematical aptitude
  • Reporting & Automation: UG/PG in Computer Science, AI & ML, MBA in Data and Analytics, or similar; preferred experience/exposure to automation, Power Apps and Power BI.
  • Experience: 2–4 years of relevant experience in AEC industry or consultancy in project management, project planning & controls, Quantity Surveying/Cost & estimation, or project coordination, project performance reporting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical thinking with good presentation skills.
  • Tools: Proficient in MS Office.
  • Office 365 Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate) is desirable.
  • Knowledge of data science is desirable.
  • Experience/exposure to Primavera P6, MS Project, EcoSys, Earned Value Analysis (EVA) or similar project management tools is an added advantage.
  • French language proficiency is an added advantage.
  • Shortlisted candidate will be employed as a Trainee for 3 months on a fixed stipend.
  • Structured training will be given by in-house and external agency.
  • After 3 months of training, the candidate will go through an internal assessment and based on the performance they may be offered appropriate role (Regular/Contract roles).
