Hi, I'm Olutomide. I work with the Project & Programme Services team at AtkinsRéalis. As a Risk Consultant, I'm part of a diverse team that delivers major infrastructure projects and national programs across the UK. We work in sectors like rail, highways, aviation, water and environment, manufacturing, defense, and energy.
How AtkinsRéalis helped me settle into the UK
I've recently moved to the UK to work with AtkinsRéalis. Relocating to a new country and balancing personal and professional responsibilities has been a challenging journey. Managing the journey of parenthood with work can be challenging. However, AtkinsRéalis supported me immensely during my wife's pregnancy and the critical first few months after the birth of our son, Siji. The company's flexibility with work locations allowed me to work from home and be more present during this important period. I also benefitted from AtkinsRéalis' Partner Leave policy, which meant I received an extra two weeks of paid leave in addition to the statutory paternity leave. This support was crucial, enabling me to provide much-needed care for my wife and our new son when they most required it. 3. The right support right from the start
One of the most significant supports was through the complexity of the move and its processes, ensuring everything was in order. The team at AtkinsRéalis did whatever it could to help alleviate the stress during a time of enormous change for my family and me.
