We offer an Environmental Graduate Scheme, in either our Infrastructure or Nuclear & Power teams:

Infrastructure team

We help our clients with innovative design, research, and consulting for a sustainable future. 

You can work in sectors that inspire and excite you, from water and transport, right the way through to cities and development, and energy. 

Whether it is airports or reservoirs that you work on, on our Infrastructure team, you'll sharpen your skills on the latest digital technologies while pressing towards a carbon-neutral future.

Nuclear & Power team

As part of our Nuclear & Power team, your work will be crucial in supporting today's energy needs while paving the way for tomorrow's solutions.

When you join this team, you'll be part of one of four key teams:

  • Power New Build
  • Reactor Operations & Decommissioning
  • Net Zero Energy
  • Decommissioning & Waste Services

Now you know a bit more about the teams you could join on our Environmental Graduate Scheme, we'll expand on five key skills you'll pick up and refine in your career journey with us.

1. Collaborative problem-solving

No matter whether you're on our Infrastructure or Nuclear & Power teams, you'll be a part of an enthusiastic and supportive group of like-minded professionals where you can seek out new development opportunities and further develop your skillset. 

2. Critical thinking and innovation

Taking the leap into our Environmental Graduate Scheme could see you working in the following areas to enhance your critical thinking skills:

  • Carbon and Sustainability: advising clients on how they can decarbonize their activities and deliver their projects in sustainable ways.
  • Networks and Drainage Solutions: providing water and wastewater infrastructure services alongside drainage design and surface water management.
  • Social Value & Stakeholder Engagement: supporting engagement with clients and the communities we work within.
  • Nuclear & Power: supporting clients in building new power stations, the operation of existing facilities, and undertaking decommissioning and waste management operations.

3. Adaptability and flexibility
