Why did you choose AtkinsRéalis?

"Before joining AtkinsRéalis, I worked in an in-house HR role where I gained experience in recruiting and stakeholder relationship management," Ashley begins. "During that time, I had the chance to work closely with the engineering industry, which sparked my interest in pursuing a career in Talent Acquisition at AtkinsRéalis."

"When I learned more about the company's values, specifically on innovation and its supportive environment, I knew it was the right place to grow." What opportunities have you had at AtkinsRéalis?

"I've been lucky to work on some incredible projects that have challenged me and helped me grow," shares Ashley. One of her standout experiences was participating in the "Dare to Succeed Program." This initiative focuses on building confidence in decision-making, strengthening presentation skills, and fostering collaboration across teams.

"The program taught me to speak up and be more confident in my role," she says. "It also helped me build meaningful relationships with colleagues from different departments, which has enhanced my problem-solving abilities."

Ashley also highlights the structured training programs offered by AtkinsRéalis, which provide both technical and soft skills development. She notes that these opportunities have fueled her career progression and prepared her for success in her current role. "The ongoing support for professional development has been a game-changer for me," she adds.

She describes an environment that prioritizes open communication, where team members are encouraged to share ideas and perspectives. "It's incredibly rewarding to see an idea you contributed being adopted and making a real difference."

She also appreciates the emphasis on work-life balance and employee well-being. "We have fantastic facilities like a snooker table, dartboard, and PS5 to unwind, along with wellness workshops that help us recharge."

Ashley credits the #WOW recognition platform as another key aspect that enhances the company culture. "It's wonderful to see colleagues' achievements celebrated so consistently. It creates a strong sense of community and boosts morale across the board."
