The highlight is a 40-meter-long, 10-meter-deep artificial reef, among the largest in the world, exemplifying the commitment to marine conservation and education.

The coral regeneration facility is an interactive scientific zone where researchers and visitors can witness the latest advancements in coral reproduction techniques, such as IVF and fragging. The open-plan design invites the public to learn about the ongoing efforts to rehabilitate coral reefs, making science accessible to all.

The grand reveal area

At the heart of RSMLI is the Grand Reveal Area, which offers visitors a breathtaking view of the Red Sea’s coral reefs from a simulated depth of 10 meters. This 28-meter-tall space immerses guests in a one-of-a-kind experience, highlighting the institute’s work in rehabilitating marine species and growing coral for transplantation into the wild.
