Key attributes we’re looking for

Technical Attributes

In D&AI Solutions, we currently have three (3) teams that work together to deliver client needs. We're looking for graduates who are adaptable and open to applying a range of skills across these domains—a T-shaped consultant who can bring deep expertise in one area while remaining versatile enough to collaborate across disciplines. We welcome applications from candidates studying any STEM degree subject.

Data Science

  • Keen understanding of data science, machine learning, and statistical principles.
  • Hands-on experience in statistical analysis, predictive modelling, and building or interpreting models.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, or data science libraries like scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy.

Data Analytics

  • Ability to explore and interpret data to generate insights.
  • Experienced in using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel for data storytelling.
  • Understanding of KPIs, dashboards, or business intelligence concepts.

Data Engineering

  • Curiosity about building robust data pipelines and moving data efficiently.
  • Exposure to ETL/ELT processes or SQL.
  • Awareness and understanding of data architecture, warehousing, cloud data services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue) or streaming platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Kafka).

Consulting Attributes

  • Problem-solving mindset – You should have a basic analytical mindset and be able to approach problems logically. You will assist in advising on how to improve data practices within organisations, so the ability to think critically and provide thoughtful solutions will be valuable.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt – As this is a developmental role, you should have a growth mindset, and you should be eager to gain experience across different areas of data consulting.
  • Strong communication skills – You’ll be the bridge between the technical and non-technical, so clear, confident communication is desired. You should be able to bring ideas to life—whether that’s through a well-crafted email, a compelling presentation, or a conversation that makes complex data concepts understandable for non-technical audiences.
  • Time Management & Organisation – You will have varying levels of responsibilities and priorities so being able to manage tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure is desired.
  • Proactive and accountable – You should be able to readily seek out diverse opportunities across the business – exploring different skill sets and responsibilities. We are also looking for individuals who readily take more responsibility in their career as the graduate programme progresses.
  • Career ambition – Whether you’re more passionate about the technical side or more drawn to developing the softer skills that drive client engagement and business impact, we’ll support your growth in the direction that suits your ambitions.
