Help us reimagine our places and spaces, from transport-hubs to university campuses, industrial facilities and critical flood defence schemes. Across all our markets, we touch every aspect of the social and economic framework. As a Graduate Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for supporting the delivery of multi-disciplinary projects from concept through to construction, on our expanding portfolio of the biggest and most challenging projects in the UK.

Degree requirements: Minimum 2.2 Bachelors/BEng degree in an engineering, architecture, building surveying, commercial, science or project management related subject

Typical locations: Birmingham, Bristol, Epsom (Surrey), Glasgow, Leeds, London, Manchester

As a Graduate Project Manager with our Net Zero Energy team, you’ll be contributing to projects that help shape a cleaner, more resilient energy sector. You’ll primarily work on initiatives within the energy systems asset market, supporting a diverse range of clients and facilities - from district heating, biomass to gas and combined heat and power networks to large scale generation plant, gas and oil storage and decentralised energy assets.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for the delivery of projects that make a real impact, primarily in the nuclear sector. Key duties could include:

  • Collaborating with engineering and project support teams
  • Engaging with clients, delivery partners and supply chain organisations
  • Learning and applying company processes and procedures
  • Monitoring of project performance and reporting progress using tools such as earned value managementCoordinating and leading high quality, industry-leading bids

Our Infrastructure Project Delivery Practice is the centre of excellence for the delivery of complex infrastructure projects. It’s also home to our collaborative project management team who support the delivery of design services across a wide range of sectors to include Water Infrastructure, Defence Infrastructure, Aviation, Energy, Stations and Urban Developments. We work with a diverse group of clients to include Berkeley Homes, BAE Systems, Defence Infrastructure Organisation, EDF, Environment Agency, Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office, Government Property Agency, Heathrow Airport, High Speed 2, Neom, United Utilities, Scottish Water, Sellafield, Seven Trent Water, Transport for London and major contractors.

As a Graduate Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for supporting the delivery of multi-disciplinary projects from concept through to construction, gaining hands-on experience on our expanding portfolio of the biggest and most complex projects in the UK.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with design and project support teams
  • Engaging with clients, delivery partners and supply chain organisations to build relationships
  • Learning and applying company processes and procedures
  • Monitoring project performance and sharing insights with internal and client teams using tools like earned value management
  • Monitoring project performance and reporting of that to both internal management and client organisations using tools such as earned value management.
  • Supporting and leading high quality, industry-leading bids
