Overview

We are looking for a talented Bridge Engineer to join our team in Cork and contribute to the delivery of innovative and challenging infrastructure projects. This position offers excellent opportunities for career development and progression within a collaborative environment.

Your role

  • Design Delivery: Contribute to the design and analysis of bridges and related structures, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
  • Project Support: Assist in managing small projects or work packages within larger schemes, focusing on quality, timelines, and budgets.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Liaise effectively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
  • Professional Development: Support senior engineers and actively develop your technical and project management skills.

About you

  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and hardworking, with a flexible approach.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in the design and refurbishment of concrete, steel, and masonry structures in Ireland or UK.
  • Proficient in Eurocodes, AASHTO and structural analysis software (e.g. MIDAS Civil and CSI Bridges).
  • Some experience in client-facing roles beneficial.
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Level 9 Masters Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Chartered Engineer (or nearing Chartership).
