AtkinsRéalis in Abitibi-Témiscamingue is growing! Spread across several offices, we provide consulting and plant engineering services primarily to clients in the region and the Far North. We offer expertise and a diverse range of services in various disciplines, including building, infrastructure, transportation, mining, and environmental sectors. Our team is a driving force for dynamic economic development in the region.
Your Role
As a Civil Engineering Technician, your responsibilities will vary by season:
Summer Season:
- Perform site supervision;
- Maintain the site journal;
- Ensure project follow-up with the project manager and various stakeholders;
- Verify installed quantities;
- Review technical sheets and shop drawings.
Winter Season:
- 3D modeling of projects, including piping, roads, and landscaping;
- Prepare plans;
- Perform quantity calculations.

About You
- College diploma (DEC) in civil engineering;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience;
- Valid Class 5 driver's license;
- ASP Construction card;
- Strong organizational and planning skills;
- Ability to work as part of a team;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel);
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D software;
- Willingness to travel to various sites in Abitibi-Témiscamingue and Northern Québec.
Site supervision is primarily in remote areas on "fly-in fly-out" rotations, with duration determined by project needs. Transportation to the site will be provided by the company.
