Overview
We are seeking an experienced Insurance & Contract Manager to support rail infrastructure/projects by primarily managing contractual matters (approx. 85%), while also overseeing insurance-related activities (approx. 15%). The ideal candidate will have robust experience in contract management within the rail or infrastructure sector, complemented by a working knowledge of insurance principles relevant to large-scale engineering or transport projects.
Your role
Contract Management (Primary Focus – ~85%)
- Lead end-to-end contract management activities across rail projects, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and obligations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts, including EPC, design & build, operations, and maintenance agreements.
- Monitor contractor performance against contractual KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Manage contract variations, claims, disputes, and change orders, ensuring risk mitigation and commercial protection.
- Provide contractual advice to project teams, procurement, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support tendering processes, including preparation and review of RFPs, bid evaluations, and contract award documentation.
- Ensure alignment with regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements within the rail industry.
- Maintain proper documentation, contract registers, and reporting.
Insurance Management (Secondary Focus – ~15%)
