Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically strong Water Lead to oversee water-related engineering, design, and project delivery activities in Riyadh, KSA. The ideal candidate will bring extensive engineering expertise, strong connections with local authorities, developers, and contractors, and proven capability in managing proposals and collaborating with global teams and partner consultants.

Your role

Technical Leadership & Project Delivery

  • Lead and manage the engineering and design of water infrastructure projects, including networks, transmission systems, pumping stations, and related facilities.
  • Provide technical guidance, quality review, and oversight to multidisciplinary design teams.
  • Ensure project designs comply with local authority regulations, standards, and client requirements.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients including government authorities, developers, and major contractors in the Kingdom.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for strategic clients and external partners.
  • Represent the company in technical meetings, presentations, and workshops with authorities and developers.

Proposal & Business Development

  • Lead and contribute to proposal preparation, including technical write-ups, methodologies, resource planning, and cost estimates.
  • Support business development activities by identifying opportunities and contributing to strategic pursuits.
  • Work closely with regional leadership teams to expand the water business in KSA.

Global Collaboration & Partnerships

  • Coordinate and manage deliverables across global design centers and technical hubs.
  • Foster strong working relationships with international partners, sub-consultants, and specialist teams.
  • Ensure efficient collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and alignment with global best practices.

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Water Resources, or related discipline) as a minimum; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10–15 years of experience in water engineering, design, and project management.
  • Strong technical expertise with proven experience working with local authorities, major contractors, and consultants in the region.
  • Demonstrated experience in proposal development and handling technical submissions.
  • Strong network and relationships with authorities, developers, and contractors in KSA.
  • Proven experience collaborating with global teams and managing partnerships with external consultants and sub-contractors.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of KSA water sector standards and approval processes.
  • Experience in large-scale water, wastewater, or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the KSA market landscape.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., Chartered Engineer, PMP) are a plus.
