Building the infrastructure to power the world - we are Linxon! (youtube.com)

How will you make your impact?

As a Permitting Subject Matter Expert for Linxon, you will be at the center of bringing some of the nation's most transformative EPC projects to life—driving the permitting strategy that enables substations, renewable energy installations, battery storage facilities, data centers, and rail electrification projects to move from concept to construction. Your expertise will shape how these critical assets reach the communities that rely on them. By anticipating regulatory challenges, building relationships with agencies, and guiding teams through complex approval pathways, you'll remove barriers that often slow down essential infrastructure and ensure projects advance with confidence, clarity, and compliance.

As a key strategic voice, you will influence decisions that directly impact energy reliability, environmental stewardship, and the nation's clean‑energy transition. Your work will accelerate the deployment of renewable power, strengthen the resilience of the grid, and help deliver infrastructure that supports millions of people and businesses. Every permit you secure and every challenge you solve will leave a measurable imprint on communities, advancing projects that make energy cleaner, safer, and more accessible for the future.

What will you do?

  • You will build clear permitting matrices that streamline decisions and prevent delays.

  • You will strengthen bids by providing accurate permitting insights that protect cost and schedule.

  • You will engage agencies early to surface challenges and accelerate approvals.

  • You will drive permit acquisition to keep construction moving without bottlenecks.

  • You will resolve agency issues quickly to maintain schedule momentum.

  • You will enforce permit compliance to avoid violations and protect project integrity.

  • You will maintain clean documentation for full visibility and audit readiness.

  • You will anticipate risks early and implement solutions before they impact delivery.

  • You will equip teams with guidance that improves compliance and execution.

  • You will improve permitting processes to enhance efficiency across all future projects.

Who you are?

  • You are a degreed professional with a background in Planning, Environmental Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • You are an experienced permitting expert with 7+ years supporting EPC, construction, or energy infrastructure projects.

  • You are deeply knowledgeable in federal, state, and local permitting processes, codes, and regulations (EPA, FEMA, DOT, TCEQ, local jurisdictions, utilities, etc.).

  • You are skilled at identifying AHJs and managing complex, multi‑jurisdictional permitting for large‑scale projects.

  • You are a strong project manager who can prioritize, organize, and drive multiple permitting workflows simultaneously.

  • You are an effective communicator who builds strong relationships with agencies, stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams.

  • You are proficient in interpreting technical drawings, regulatory requirements, and permit conditions with accuracy.

  • You are adept at using permitting databases, tracking systems, and document management tools to maintain visibility and control.
