Your role
The following is a list of some of the day-to-day responsibilities of the successful candidate. In all instances you will work as member of a project team.
Plan, coordinate and execute ground investigations for transportation, infrastructure and mining projects.
Perform subgrade inspections and site supervision of earthworks construction.
Install and monitor geotechnical instrumentation.
Collaborate with teams to further technological and digital advancement.
Work on large projects with other groups such and Geomatics, Environment, and Materials Testing cross training as required to achieve common goal.
Adhere to rules and procedures that ensure the health and safety of employees and the environment as well as the prevention of workplace incidents.
Be proactive in improving HSE policies and procedures to mitigate hazards related to your work.
About you
Civil Engineering Technology, Geological Engineering Technology or similar diploma or degree and 5+ years of related experience.
Ability to work and travel throughout Ontario with the potential for out-of-province assignments.
Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail.
Valid Ontario class G driver's license is a requirement.
Self-motivated and a high level of energy.

Additional information
Expected compensation for this role is between $67,800 - $93,200 CAD annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
