Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Inspector – Civil to join our team in KSA. The ideal candidate will bring 8 to 10 years of experience in civil inspection, with a strong background in both consultancy and site operations within the KSA. The role requires a meticulous individual with a deep understanding of civil engineering practices, local regulations, and construction standards.

Your role

  • Inspection and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections of civil engineering works to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and KSA regulations. Identify and report any discrepancies or non-conformities.
  • Site Supervision: Oversee day-to-day site activities related to civil engineering projects, ensuring that work is carried out according to approved plans and schedules. Monitor construction progress and provide timely feedback to the project team.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Verify that all construction activities adhere to safety regulations, quality control procedures, and environmental standards. Ensure that all relevant permits and approvals are in place.
  • Documentation: Prepare detailed inspection reports, including observations, test results, and recommendations. Maintain accurate records of inspections, site visits, and any issues encountered.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to address technical issues and resolve any site-related challenges. Facilitate effective communication between site teams and the consultancy office.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support on civil engineering matters. Review design documents, construction drawings, and technical specifications to ensure alignment with project requirements.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify potential problems on-site and propose practical solutions to mitigate risks and avoid delays. Escalate major issues to senior management as needed.

About you

  • Experience: 10 to 12 years of experience in civil inspection, with a strong background in both consultancy and site operations. Proven experience working on Museum or Entertainment projects within the KSA.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Relevant certifications or professional memberships are advantageous.
  • KSA Experience: Extensive experience working in the KSA construction and engineering industry, with a solid understanding of local standards, regulations, and practices.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in civil engineering principles, construction methods, and quality control procedures. Familiarity with relevant software and tools used in inspection and reporting.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in inspecting and reporting on civil engineering works. Ability to spot potential issues and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and provide practical solutions to construction challenges.
