The Solution Architect owns end‑to‑end solution architecture across Linxon's'engineering, project delivery, enterprise, SAP ERP, and AI‑enabled application landscape.

The role ensures systems are architected to be owned, governed, secure, scalable, compliant, and cost‑effective, while supporting application separation, migration, ERP transformation, and responsible AI adoption.

Scope spans the full lifecycle:
Business → Application → Integration → Data → Security → AI → ERP → Run

What will you do?

-Solution & Enterprise Architecture

  • Own architecture for engineering & BIM (Autodesk, Bentley, Trimble), project controls (Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore), enterprise platforms (Microsoft 365, Power Platform), SAP ERP (S/4HANA, ARIBA), and AI‑enabled solutions
  • Translate business requirements into clear end‑to‑end solution designs
  • Define target states, transition architectures, and roadmaps
  • Ensure architectural consistency across regions and functions

-Application Separation, Migration & Rationalisation

  • Architect separation into Linxon‑owned environments
  • Govern migrations using Discover Separate Migrate Stabilize
  • Drive decisions on SaaS vs on‑prem vs hybrid, tool consolidation, and retirements
  • Ensure every application has a named technical and business owner

-Integration, Data & Platform Architecture

  • Define and govern integration patterns (API, event, batch, IAM/SSO)
  • Ensure data flow clarity, ownership, lineage, and analytics readiness
  • Architect coherent integration across engineering, ERP, and enterprise platforms

-AI & Intelligent Systems Architecture

  • Architect AI‑enabled solutions (Copilot, Power Platform, SaaS‑embedded AI)
  • Ensure designs include explainability, human oversight, and responsible AI principles
  • Provide architectural input supporting EU AI Act awareness, AI system identification, and ownership

-Security, Governance & Design Authority

  • Embed security, IAM, and compliance into all architectures
  • Act as design authority for applications, ERP, and AI
  • Define and enforce architecture standards, patterns, and guardrails
  • Review and challenge vendor and SI designs to prevent long‑term risk and lock‑in

-Delivery & Run Alignment

  • Work with Product Owners, Engineering, DevOps, and Support teams to ensure architectural intent is delivered
  • Design for operability, stability, cost control, and lifecycle ownership
  • Reduce technical debt and L2/L3 escalation caused by poor design

-SAP ERP & Enterprise Transformation

  • Provide solution architecture oversight for SAP S/4HANA, ARIBA, and analytics
  • Architect ERP transitions (Oracle → SAP, Workday integrations, legacy replacements)
  • Define coexistence, migration, and cutover architectures
  • Act as architectural authority across SAP vendors and system integrators

Experience, Education and other Required:

  • 10+ years in Solution / Enterprise Architecture roles
  • Experience in complex, multi‑vendor, multi‑platform environments
  • Strong exposure to engineering platforms, Microsoft ecosystem, SAP ERP, and hybrid architectures
  • Experience architecting AI‑enabled solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management and vendor‑challenge capability
  • Reduced application and ERP complexity
  • Successful migrations and ERP transitions with minimal disruption
  • Reduced vendor dependency and improved cost control
  • Audit‑ready application, ERP, and AI landscape
  • Improved stability, supportability, and internal architecture capability
