Overview
Join one of the most ambitious hydroelectric projects in Québec!
As it approaches its centennial, the Isle-Maligne power station in Alma is undergoing a major modernization valued at $1.7 billion , aimed at extending its lifespan and reinforcing its strategic role in clean energy production for the aluminum industry. This large-scale project includes replacing eight turbine-generator units, rehabilitating hydraulic infrastructure, and upgrading electrical and mechanical systems.
We are looking for a Systems Integration Coordinator – Hydropower Modernization. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring consistency and reliability across interfaces between new technologies and existing systems, directly contributing to the success of this historic transformation.
This position is 100% on-site at the project office in Alma.
Given the project's minimum duration of 7 years , we are open to discussing relocation arrangements for candidates currently based in Montréal or Québec City.
Your Role
You will be responsible for defining and monitoring technical interfaces, ensuring functional requirements are integrated effectively and consistently:
Define and maintain the interface matrix;
Track technical interfaces through interface control documents;
Ensure functional requirements are properly integrated into systems;
Collaborate closely with plant personnel to ensure smooth communication and system integration;
Apply ISO 15288 standards for system lifecycle management;
Participate in coordination meetings and provide regular interface status reports;
Identify and resolve technical interface issues with engineering, construction, and plant teams.

About You
College diploma (D.E.C.) or bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction engineering, project management, or equivalent field;
Previous experience in managing refurbishment projects in brownfield environments, ideally in the hydroelectric sector;
Strong knowledge of ISO 15288 standard;
Proven skills in systems integration management and technical interface tracking;
Ability to solve complex problems and make sound decisions;
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts clearly and effectively;
Proficiency in French (spoken and written).
