Overview
The Technical Director leads all engineering, technical, and design functions for major road and infrastructure programs. Acts as the highest technical authority ensuring design integrity, engineering excellence, and compliance with international standards.
Your role
- Lead engineering teams across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and safety disciplines.
- Approve designs, technical submissions, specifications, and engineering solutions.
- Oversee design management, constructability reviews, and value engineering.
- Provide technical leadership for complex road, bridges, and infrastructure challenges.
- Ensure compliance with international codes (AASHTO, ACI, BS, ASTM) and project standards.
- Review contractor technical proposals, method statements, and alternatives.
- Manage technical risk, design interfaces, and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Support project directors and stakeholders in high-level decision making.
- Mentor senior engineers and lead technical training initiatives.

About you
- Master'S or Bachelor's'in Civil/Structural Engineering (PhD preferred).
- 20+ years engineering experience with at least 10 years in leadership roles.
- Proven expertise in major roads, bridges, and infrastructure megaprojects.
- Strong leadership, technical decision-making, and communication skills.
