Overview
Our Trois-Rivières office is currently seeking a Materials and Geotechnical Engineering Laboratory Technician. The Laboratory Technician ensures the proper functioning of the department in relation to soils, concrete, and geotechnical materials in general.
Your Role
Reports to the Laboratory Manager.
Comply with current safety standards.
Receive deliveries and samples, and complete related documentation.
Ensure the conformity of samples upon reception.
Manage the storage and disposal of samples.
Maintain the workspace, equipment, and a safe working environment.
Perform laboratory tests on asphalt.
Carry out calibrations of field and laboratory equipment.

About You
DEC or AEC in Civil Engineering or Mineral Technology.
Strong interest in working in a laboratory setting.
Proficiency in French (spoken and written).
Good physical ability.
Relevant experience related to the position, an asset.
Possession of the ASP Construction card, an asset.
Valid driver's license, an asset.
