For Devendra, engineering has always been about more than calculations and drawings. With over nine years of experience in water and drainage infrastructure, specializing in Water Resource Engineering, his career has been shaped by curiosity, collaboration, and a constant drive to improve how infrastructure serves communities. 

Before joining AtkinsRéalis, Devendra worked across multiple organizations, gaining hands‑on exposure to a wide range of drainage and infrastructure projects. Each role added to his technical depth and broadened his professional perspective. 

That journey brought him to AtkinsRéalis four years ago, a move that marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter.

Expanding horizons through global projects 

Since joining, Devendra has worked on major projects across the UK and Canada, including Tramway, Lakeshore, and OPG DNNP. These assignments challenged him to think differently, adapt to global engineering standards, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across regions. 

“Working on these projects has helped me engage with complex design challenges and broaden my understanding of global engineering practices,” he shares. 

Beyond the technical learning, what stood out most was the opportunity to work alongside highly skilled colleagues who are always ready to share their knowledge and perspectives. 

Outside of work, Devendra enjoys playing cricket, reading novels, and exploring new places, interests that keep him active, curious, and energized.
