Your role
- Appropriate academic and professional qualifications (Bachelor's Degree with Master's degree in transport planning/ transportation engineering)
- Working experience (15+ years) in Transport Planning software like VISUM, CUBE, EMME, SATURN, DIADEM.
- Experience and knowledge of Strategic Modelling techniques and guidance.
- Knowledge of the technical transport planning environment
- Strong numerate and analytical abilities, including a high degree of competence in MS Excel
- Able to write a quality technical report
- Ability to work in a team as part of a wider project
- Experience in leading smaller teams as part of a project delivery
- Good written communication skills
- Be able to work individually.

- Knowledge and experience of ME regional modelling guidance and approaches
- Experience in the use of analytical and research tools such as GIS and the use of databases
- An appreciation of the transport industry and related policy context
- Professional membership of a relevant institution.
- Experience in programming skills like Python, PowerBI, Excel-VBA and R.
