This role is part of our Decommissioning team.

Requirements: Minimum 2.2 Bachelor’s degree in Building Information Modelling (BIM), Information Modelling, Information Management, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Structural Engineering.

Locations for this business will include: Bristol, London, Manchester or Whitehaven (Please note locations may close due to volume of applications - if your preferred location isn't available when you go to apply please select an alternative.)

Decommissioning

The Decommissioning team offers innovative digital services and solutions across challenging projects not only in the nuclear industry but also the wider energy sectors. This role will develop your BIM and Information Management knowledge and skills, as you will work closely with Information Managers and BIM coordinators to support multi-disciplinary full lifecycle projects and advisory-based tasks.

Within this role a candidate will:

  • Develop their skills in BIM and Information Management.
  • Learn how to pragmatically implement ISO 19650 & the UK BIM Framework for the Nuclear & Power industry.
  • Learn about software and systems which enable BIM focused delivery.
  • Have exposure to implementing BIM and Information Management techniques on a wide range of projects from Nuclear New builds, decommissioning legacy facilities to net zero energy projects.
  • Support existing team members to undertake BIM and Information Management activities for the internal team and business initiatives.

The Decommissioning team supports all of the Nuclear business with Information Management, which covers a wide range of clients giving exposure to all different types of projects. Our challenge is to support our clients as well as our internal teams to ensure Information Management is at the forefront of all delivery methods.

We are looking for candidates who preferably have a BIM and Information Management focused background. The ideal candidate will have an interest in BIM, 3D modelling, CDE’s, Digital Twins and Digital tools and Technology.
