As a Project Management Graduate within our Aerospace, Defence, Security and Technology practice (ADS&T), you will not only be joining an exciting and forward-thinking team of highly driven Consultants, but you will also be working on some of the most interesting public and private sector projects shaping the future of the UK.

The Project Management Graduate Programme pairs learning from experience on transformative national and digital projects with a continually evolving development programme, designed to give you the tools and skills you need to become one of our industry’s future leaders. Within our business, we deploy our award-winning Project Managers to work on ground-breaking projects within a wide range of clients such as the Ministry of Defence and Heathrow Airport.

You’ll be…

Joining our highly respected Junior Consultant Development Programme will provide you with support and training to drive your career forward as a world class Project Manager. During our 2-year development programme, you will develop your core consultancy skills, alongside specialist capabilities, through a mixture of client projects and internal initiatives, and training activities. You will also have the opportunity of working towards your Association for Project Management’s Chartered Project Professional status, which will recognise your capabilities amongst industry professionals and enable you to utilise best practice in client environments.

As a Junior Consultant, you will work both independently and as part of a team with guidance from a variety of experienced consultants and mentors. From the exciting projects you will work on to the wide variety of career paths you can pursue, we will challenge you and support your development from day one.

Our Junior Consultants are aligned to a specific consulting capability team (Project & Programme Consulting and Delivery) based on their experience and strengths, however as part of their programme they will take on opportunities which allow them to try a variety of different role types.

Degree requirements: Minimum 2.2 Bachelor’s degree in any discipline

Typical locations: Bristol, London

As Deliver Optimisation Consultants at AtkinsRéalis we make the change happen for our clients and bring certainty to delivery. We provide consultancy services to assist our clients in delivering controlled transformational change, while providing expert advisory services to optimise our client’s portfolios, solve their most complex problems and ultimately achieve unparalleled results.

As a Junior Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in a diverse team driving the success of various projects across multiple industries. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of projects, which includes planning, executing, and finalising projects according to managed deadlines and within budget. You will work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables, while also identifying and mitigating risks. You will also be at the forefront of using advanced technology to streamline processes and enable certainty in delivering projects or programmes. Your unique skills and attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership and problem-solving skills, to grow as a professional, and to make a significant impact to the organisation’s strategic objectives.
