Overview
Join a leading engineering organization at the forefront of innovation in nuclear infrastructure. This role sits within a highly specialized engineering team responsible for delivering complex civil and structural solutions for major nuclear projects in Canada. You will play a critical leadership role within the civil and structural engineering discipline, contributing to the safe, compliant, and successful delivery of large‑scale engineering programs.
Your Role
- Lead the civil and structural design process from concept through detailed design, including functional, performance, environmental, and seismic requirements.
- Manage and develop a multidisciplinary team of civil and structural engineering professionals.
- Plan and execute work to meet quality, cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
- Coordinate and oversee civil and structural engineering activities for nuclear power plant fundamental design.
- Ensure compliance with engineering, quality assurance, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
- Support proposal development, resource forecasting, and risk mitigation to maintain safety, quality, and delivery performance.
About You
- Ability to apply advanced civil and structural engineering expertise within large‑scale EPC and nuclear environments.
- Proficiency in leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and providing clear, directional leadership.
- Aptitude for interfacing with regulatory authorities and managing compliance documentation.
- Ability to work within complex regulatory frameworks, including nuclear, CSA, and NBCC codes and standards.
- Proficiency in managing engineering delivery across refurbishment and new‑build projects.
