Your Role

  • Manage relationships with client project teams to ensure ongoing risk management support.

  • Collaborate with client project teams to gain a thorough understanding of projects and analyze client‑provided documentation (scope, schedule, estimates).

  • Facilitate risk management workshops, ensuring that appropriate records of discussions are maintained.

  • Enter data and run schedule‑modelling software — Safran is preferred.

  • Manage the preparation of presentations, executive summaries, and comprehensive reports for each project — using standard templates and drafting preliminary text.

  • Perform quality assurance (QA) checks on all documentation prior to submission to the client.

  • Use @Risk to generate cost‑modelling insights and create a variety of modelling scenarios.

  • Draft risk‑related content for RFPs and develop and update internal risk‑management training materials.

  • Support internal project risk management and provide guidance on best‑practice strategies for projects and proposals.

  • Maintain and regularly update internal processes, procedures, and work instructions to ensure a consistent business approach aligned with corporate strategy.

  • Generate risk management business opportunities with external clients.

  • Manage multiple project workloads simultaneously and effectively prioritize tasks.

  • Workshops may be conducted virtually or may require travel to client sites.

About You

  • University degree in engineering, construction, or a related field, combined with relevant experience.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a design/construction environment, including at least 5 years of experience in risk modelling.

  • Ability to analyze MS Project and Primavera P6 schedules to recreate a high‑level schedule for modelling purposes.

  • Ability to analyze cost information (typically in Excel) to classify project costs (client, design, contractor) and extract contingencies.

  • Strong understanding of AACE classes and their implications.

  • Proficiency with risk‑modelling software — @Risk is essential.

  • Familiarity with the following risk‑management software is an asset: Safran, PRC, ARM.

  • Proficiency with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).

  • Proficiency with Primavera P6 — the ability to create projects from scratch is essential.

  • Ability to perform in a dynamic environment while balancing and prioritizing workloads.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

*Expected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $110,000 to $160,000 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
