The Geotechnical team includes more than 80 employees who, in recent years, have contributed to major projects such as the Réseau express métropolitain (REM), the Samuel De Champlain Bridge, and the development of Québec's battery supply chain.

Your Role

  • Participate in geotechnical design on various projects;

  • Contribute to administrative project management;

  • Assist in preparing proposals for professional services;

  • Perform geotechnical calculations (bearing capacity, settlements, slope stability, soil liquefaction, etc.);

  • Carry out numerical modelling studies for major projects;

  • Participate in drafting technical reports;

  • Collaborate with other departments and services.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in civil, geological, or mining engineering;

  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in geotechnical engineering is an asset;

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience;

  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ);

  • Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering (buildings, foundations, slope stability analysis, linear infrastructure, soil liquefaction);

  • Possess a valid ASP Construction card;

  • Hold a valid driver's licence;

  • Excellent spoken and written French;

  • Strong judgment and analytical skills;

  • Good knowledge of commonly used geotechnical software;

  • Ability to work as part of a team in complex and changing environments.
