Overview
The Quality & Audit Expert will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) for the metro/rail O&M'operations. The role ensures compliance with contractual, regulatory, and international standards while driving continuous improvement through audits, inspections, and performance monitoring.
Your role
Quality Management
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001 and project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with client requirements, regulatory standards, and O&M contractual obligations.
- Establish quality objectives, KPIs, and monitoring frameworks for operations and maintenance activities.
- Review and approve method statements, procedures, and quality plans.
Audit & Compliance
- Plan and conduct internal and external audits across all O&M functions (operations, maintenance, depot, safety, etc.).
- Ensure adherence to international standards (ISO, IRIS if applicable) and local Saudi regulations.
- Manage audit schedules, checklists, findings, and corrective action plans (CAPA).
- Coordinate with third-party auditors, client representatives, and certification bodies.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain and control all quality documentation, records, and reports.
- Prepare audit reports, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and quality dashboards.
- Ensure document control systems are in line with project and corporate standards.
Continuous Improvement
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for quality issues and implement corrective/preventive measures.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations and maintenance processes.
- Monitor performance trends and recommend optimization actions.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the main interface with client quality teams and regulatory authorities.
- Provide quality-related guidance to O&M teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Support management in quality reviews, risk assessments, and compliance strategy.
Training & Awareness
- Conduct training sessions on quality standards, audit processes, and compliance requirements.
- Promote a strong quality culture and awareness across the organization.

About you
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
- 10 experience in quality management within rail/metro or large infrastructure projects.
- Strong experience in audit management and QMS implementation.
- Experience working in Middle East / KSA projects is highly preferred.
Certifications (Preferred/Required)
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor (highly preferred).
- IRCA-certified Auditor (preferred).
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001.
- Rail-specific quality standards knowledge (e.g., IRIS/ISO 22163) is a plus.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of rail/metro systems and O&M processes.
- Expertise in quality assurance, auditing, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in reporting tools and document management systems.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
