Quality Assurance Specialist

Overview

The Quality Assurance Specialist reports to the Project Quality Assurance Manager. He/She is responsible for providing support in establishing and managing the project QA program, including performance monitoring of QA deliverables and providing QA input to deliverables produced by other

project functions.

Your role

·Preparation of the Project QA Plan and providing support for the implementation of the project QA program.

·Conducting self-assessments of the Project activities to assess compliance with established procedures and their effectiveness.

·Providing required support for the implementation of the non-conformance and corrective action process (ProAct process) for the Project.

·Coordinating the internal and external audits performed during Project execution.

·Attending weekly Documentation status review and provide input on the status of review from QA point of view

·Identifying the process specific processes required by the contractual requirements and initiating the preparation of new project specific procedures

·Responsible with suppliers' qualification for the Scope of Work identified in applicable Engineering Quotation Request Packages (EQRs) and review Bidder's lists

·Responsible with the regular updating of Project Suppliers audits plan

·Coordinating and maintaining project database of the status of Quality Tender Evaluations

About you

  • University Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with experience in the nuclear field,

  • Minimum of 5 years practical working experience in a relevant nuclear field,

  • Working knowledge of CSA N 285.0, CSA N 299 series and CSA N286-12 and ASME codes,

  • Advanced computing skills and functionality with standard Microsoft Office programs (e.g., Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
