The Senior Engineer – IT Service Management & PMO will play a key role in driving IT service delivery excellence and PMO governance. This role is responsible for managing ITSM operations, defining and tracking metrics and KPIs, producing management reports, and supporting PMO activities such as dashboards, executive presentations, and status reporting. The role will also act as Major Incident Manager in the absence of the primary incident manager, ensuring swift restoration of business-critical services.
What will you do?
- Manage and support ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, Change, Major Incident, and Service Request Management
- Ensure adherence to ITIL best practices and organizational service management standards
- Track, analyze, and report service performance metrics, SLAs, OLAs, and KPIs
- Coordinate with internal IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve service issues.
- Define, maintain, and evolve IT operational metrics and KPIs
- Produce regular and ad-hoc reports including weekly, monthly, and quarterly service reviews
- Create executive-level dashboards highlighting service health, risks, and trends
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of reports.
- • Weekly and monthly project and operational status updates
- Preparation of management and leadership presentations
- Maintenance of project dashboards, RAID logs, and action trackers
- Track milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues across IT initiatives
- Support governance forums with accurate data and timely documentation.
- Act as Major Incident Manager, Change Manager as and when required
Experience, Education and other Required:
Experience: 05 to 7 years
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL framework (ITIL v4 certification preferred).
- Strong understanding of ITSM frameworks (ITIL) and service operations
- Experience in IT metrics, KPI definition, and reporting
- Solid PMO knowledge including governance, reporting, and dashboards
- Proficiency with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy, or equivalent)
- Advanced PowerPoint, Excel, and reporting/dashboarding skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- ITIL Foundation or higher certification preferred.
Technologies: M365, MDM, Endpoint Mgmt., VoIP, MS teams, Azure AD, AVD, DHCP, End point Patching, End point Policies, App Packaging.
Work Time: UK Shift, Mon – Fri. (Rotational on call for Critical Incidents)
