Senior Engineer – Geotechnical Project Manager

The Geotechnical team includes more than 80 employees who, in recent years, have contributed to major projects such as the Réseau express métropolitain (REM), the Samuel‑De Champlain Bridge, and the development of Québec's battery industry.

Your Role

  • Participate in the geotechnical design of projects;

  • Lead the administrative management of projects;

  • Lead the preparation of professional service proposals;

  • Perform and review geotechnical calculations (bearing capacity, settlement, slope stability, soil liquefaction, etc.);

  • Perform and review numerical modelling studies for major projects;

  • Lead the preparation of technical reports;

  • Collaborate with other departments and services.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geological, or Mining Engineering;

  • Master'S or PhD in Geotechnical Engineering is an asset;

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering (investigation);

  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) for at least 5 years;

  • Proficiency with commonly used geotechnical software such as GeoStudio, Settle3, and CPeT‑IT;

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or ability to obtain CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) certification within six months is a condition of employment if you are not currently PMP certified;

  • Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering (buildings, foundations, slope stability analysis, linear infrastructure, soil liquefaction)

  • Possession of the ASP Construction safety card;

  • Valid driver's license;

  • Strong judgment and analytical skills;

  • Ability to work collaboratively in complex and evolving environments;

  • Bilingualism French and English*.
