Your role
- Provide senior programme leadership and oversight, ensuring effective governance, assurance, and alignment across complex, multi-project portfolios.
- Act as a trusted client advisor, influencing senior stakeholders and providing strategic challenge and recommendations on delivery, risk, and performance.
- Establish and optimise PMO and controls environments, enabling robust reporting, decision-making, and continuous improvement across programmes.
- Lead programme strategy and advisory, including shaping programme vision, target operating models, and business cases to align delivery with client objectives.
- Lead and develop high-performing teams, providing direction, oversight and capability growth across multidisciplinary delivery resources.
- Drive commercial performance and business growth, including managing commissions, developing client relationships, and contributing to bids and market opportunities.
- Apply deep technical expertise and innovation, solving complex client challenges, improving delivery approaches, and embedding best practice across engagements.

About You
- Demonstrable experience leading or advising on complex programmes or portfolios, ideally in a client-facing environment across multiple stakeholders and delivery partners.
- Deep expertise in programme management, PMO and/or advisory disciplines, with the ability to apply best practice frameworks (e.g. governance, assurance, business case development).
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capability, with a track record of interpreting complex business challenges and developing innovative, value-driven solutions.
- Proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and building long-term client relationships.
- Experience in leading teams and managing delivery through others, including mentoring, performance oversight and capability development.
- Commercial awareness and experience of managing projects/commissions and contributing to business development, including bids and client growth activities.
- Relevant professional qualifications and/or accreditation (e.g. MSP, APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent), with a strong understanding of industry best practice and market trends.
