Your role
- Actively collaborate with Mega project and other stakeholders to align HSE expectations, requirements, and best practices on projects.
- Collaborates with OSH and project and program managers to evaluate contractors' SH&E performance, planning, and culture to be consistent with the organization risk management practices and core values.
- Ensure full compliance with local, international, and project-specific HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Manage the health, safety and environmental arrangements for the project against the AtkinsRéalis Management System requirements, to ensure the protection of our people.
- Interface with client representatives and third parties regarding safety performance, inspections, and reporting.
- Mentor and coach field staff and subcontractors to improve their understanding and implementation of HSE practices.
- Promote a proactive safety culture through engagement, communication, and leadership by example.
- Coordinate HSE efforts across multiple contractors and subcontractors to ensure unified compliance and standards
- Manage HSE Engineers to ensure they are monitoring the implementation of health and safety arrangements at project site level, in accordance with legal and Mega project & Regional AtkinsRéalis requirements.
- Develop and deliver health, safety and environmental training to AtkinsRéalis employees including but not
- limited to, induction, safe working practices.
- Review and approve contractor's'health, safety and environmental plans, risk assessments and method statements against legal and client requirements prior to the work being carried out.
- Plan daily morning site visits across project sites to ensure health and safety measures are in place before works begins.
- Ensure continuous HSE coverage for 24/7 operations on the project and maintain punctuality in daily activities.
- Carry out weekly and monthly joint HSE inspections with HSE Engineers and contractor personnel (HSE & Construction management) and ensure all the corrective/preventive actions are closed out.
- Supervises emergency response team and first aid personnel in providing services emergency situations and to occupationally injured or ill personnel.
- Organise HSE meetings with Mega project, AtkinsRéalis project staff, and contractors.
- Organise and prepare weekly senior leadership walkthrough with Mega project, AtkinsRéalis project staff, and contractors.
- Ensure HSE Engineers follow up on contractor's'incident investigation reports are completed and corrective actions are identified and closed out to prevent a recurrence and provide necessary technical guidance for accident protection.
- Prepares and reviews audit and inspection reports and OSH statistics reports and presentations, Audits projects and programs and their worksites against Regional and Mega project standards; and submits written audit reports.
- Manage and analyse HSE statistics and performance indicators to support monitoring and continuous improvement.
- Performs trends analyses on audit findings, inspection findings, and incident reports; creates and submits regular analysis reports.

About you
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in safety / science / engineering
- Level -06 Equivalent (NEBOSH International/National Diploma, NVQ, British Safety)
- Member of a professional body i.e. IOSH, IIRSM or SocEnv, CSP, CRSP
- At least 15+ years' experience in the field of HSE within the construction sector, with at least 5 years in a Managerial HSE level role in Middle East specially in KSA, working closely with multiple leadership
