Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Internal Auditor to join our team! The role will be based at our Headquarter in Montreal. This is a hybrid position with working both remotely and in the office. This position will begin in January 2026.
Among other tasks, the Internal Audit department is responsible for carrying out operational internal audits as well as Controls over Financial Reporting ("ICFR") compliance mandates.
The candidate will spend time working with our Corporate Internal Audit team, allowing hands on experience and exposure to accounting and internal audit at a large global publicly traded company.
Your role
With appropriate guidance and under the supervision of more senior staff, the Junior Internal Auditor is responsible for assisting audit engagements by completing assigned tasks.
Assist the Internal Audit team in execution of audit engagements with clear explanations of procedures and results using appropriate standards and terminology.
Create accurate, logical, and detailed work-papers clearly describing the work performed, testing results and conclusions.
Attend audit related meetings such as kickoff, process walkthroughs and/or close meetings.
Work and interact with a variety of departments across the company.
Attend department meetings to gain knowledge of the various department's functions.
Utilize technology and tools to continually learn and innovate.
Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures, supporting the organizations corporate integrity efforts by acting in an ethical and appropriate manner.

About you
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Fluency in English and French will be considered as asset.
*If you are located in the province of Quebec, knowledge of both French and English is required. Since AtkinsRéalis is an international company with offices and employees all over the world and an international clientele, we must be able to provide services in both French and English. Consequently, a knowledge of English is required due to the nature of the professional services you will be providing. If you are located outside the province of Quebec, knowledge of English is required and knowledge of French is an asset.
