Senior Signaling and Communications Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Signaling and Communications Engineer.

As a senior member of the team, you will provide technical leadership and oversight while working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams on projects.

Your role

At the senior level, your responsibilities will include:

  • PEO licensed or eligible, with 15+ years of rail and transit train control & signalling experience.
  • Extensive experience designing and selecting train control and signalling system components, with conventional signalling as a prerequisite.
  • Proven expertise across multiple train control technologies (ETCS, ATC, CBTC, PTC), grade crossings, and CBI platforms, with strong knowledge of CROR and Canadian Grade Crossing Standards.
  • Experience integrating train control systems into transit facilities, vehicles, and multidisciplinary project environments.
  • Strong documentation skills, including preparation of design drawings, technical requirements, and specifications.
  • Support through construction, installation, testing, commissioning, and operational handover, including interaction with operations and maintenance teams

About you

Additional information

Expected compensation for this role is between $125,000 - $171,900 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
