Overview

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a proactive and delivery-focused Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of specialist projects within a live aviation environment. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the role will be heavily site-based with a strong emphasis on coordination during construction, stakeholder engagement, and real-time problem solving.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-profile infrastructure projects within the aviation sector, working closely with Contractors, design teams, and client stakeholders in a fast-paced, operationally complex environment.

Your role

  • Coordinate day-to-day project activities on site to ensure safe, efficient delivery of specialist works packages.
  • Act as a key interface between Contractors, client representatives, and internal project teams.
  • Support programme tracking, site progress reporting, and issue resolution during construction phases.
  • Monitor site activities to ensure alignment with design intent, programme, and operational constraints.
  • Proactively identify risks, constraints, and clashes, driving resolution in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Assist with management of site documentation, RFIs, inspections, and handover processes.
  • Support delivery within live operational environments with minimal disruption to ongoing airport activities.
  • Contribute to project meetings, workshops, and coordination sessions with Contractors and stakeholders.

About you

  • Experience in a Project Coordinator / Site Coordinator / Assistant PM role within construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrable experience working alongside Contractors and multiple stakeholders during live construction environments (essential).
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and site coordination requirements.
  • Proven ability to operate in high-paced environments and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to respond quickly to site issues and constraints.
  • Experience within aviation, transport, or complex infrastructure environments is highly desirable.
