Overview
The Senior HR Operations Advisor plays a critical role in driving HR transformation and operational excellence across Asia. As the primary liaison between local HR teams and the People Hub, this role ensures smooth knowledge transfer, consistent service delivery, and strong governance aligned with global standards.
This position supports the full employee life cycle and serves as a trusted partner on all HR operations—covering payroll coordination, data integrity, reporting, and process governance. Working closely with regional and global stakeholders, the Advisor improves processes, enhances employee experience, and strengthens operational effectiveness across Asian markets.
Your role
HR Process Transformation & Knowledge Transfer
- Act as the main regional bridge between Asia HR teams and the People Hub to ensure clear knowledge transfer and aligned process execution.
- Collaborate with HR teams to document, streamline, and automate HR policies, workflows, and life cycle processes.
- Monitor service request/ticket progress, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Recommend process improvements based on operational insights and market requirements.
HR Operations Advisory (Asia)
- Serve as the go‑to expert for HR operations, including payroll coordination, data management, reporting, and HR process guidance.
- Partner with local HR teams to ensure smooth end‑to‑end employee life cycle operations.
- Provide operational insights to elevate employee experience and strengthen HR effectiveness across the region.
- Coordinate with cross-functional partners (Finance, IT, Legal, etc.) to support accurate data flow, issue escalation, and compliance activities.
Experience Operations & Governance
- Ensure consistent, compliant, and efficient HR operations aligned with global standards and local regulatory requirements.
- Maintain strong governance through clear documentation standards, process controls, and audit readiness.
- Drive ongoing improvements by simplifying workflows, enhancing service touchpoints, and mitigating operational risks.
- Monitor data accuracy, system integrity, and reporting quality for effective decision-making.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain up-to-date documentation related to employment, payroll, training, and performance processes.
- Ensure timely submission of reports to government bodies, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
- Oversee the preparation, tracking, and secure storage of HR documents to support compliance and audit needs.
- Contribute to the development of dashboards and recurring reports for regional HR and business leaders.

About you
- At least 5 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in construction and engineering sectors.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, payroll coordination, and regional employment regulations.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and data management tools.
- Experience working in matrix or global organisations preferred.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage complexity and navigate change in a fast‑paced environment.
