Overview
Responsible for overseeing the planning, design, construction, and integration of track-related infrastructure. Working as part of the delivery partner team, you will ensure that all track works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while coordinating with multiple stakeholders including contractors, consultants, and public agencies.
Your role
- Lead the delivery of all track-related scopes (ballasted, embedded, slab track, switches & crossings).
- Coordinate with design consultants to ensure compliance with technical specifications and standards.
- Oversee construction activities, ensuring alignment with project schedule and safety protocols.
- Manage interfaces with civil, systems, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to contract requirements.
- Review and approve technical submittals, method statements, and inspection test plans.
- Support risk management, change control, and issue resolution processes.
- Provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Canadian rail and transit regulations and standards.

About you
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Railway Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in rail infrastructure projects, with at least 5 years in track construction or management.
- Experience on LRT or major transit infrastructure projects in Canada or similar jurisdictions.
- Familiarity with P3/AFP delivery models and working in a delivery partner or owner's representative capacity.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of track design standards (AREMA, Transport Canada, CSA).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
