Degree requirements: On track to achieve a minimum of a 2.2 Bachelor’s degree or above in a Project Management related degree or any subject for those who can demonstrate commercial or technical acumen.

Working as a Project Manager you will form an integral part of our established team of project and Programme Management practitioners and will be supported in all aspects of your career development. Our Project Managers are involved in some of the world’s most prestigious and complex projects, requiring meticulous planning to ensure successful delivery to our clients and stakeholders.
As a Graduate Project Manager at PPS, you’ll be working directly with clients to achieve their goals, this may include assisting clients in developing the strategy for their project or programme, managing multidisciplinary project teams to turn ideas into tangible designs, or managing projects on site to help turn designs into reality. This will require spending time in PPS’s offices, the client’s office or the client’s site.
You can either join us as Graduate Project Manager in our Commercial Property or Complex Infrastructure teams. More information on these teams can be found below.

You’ll join us as a Graduate Project Manager and will help provide expert advice to our clients on a range of complex projects. Our Project Managers work across both public and private sectors, including universities, pharmaceutical, government and new and refurbishment development projects. You will learn to work with clients and learn to be confident, a good communicator, problem solving and well-rounded and broad-based Project Manager. You will be given the opportunity to grow, with a wide variety of projects to work on and learn from an experienced high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Project Delivery: Assist in the delivery of projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with client objectives, project scope, and quality standards.
- Programme and Milestone Management: Develop and manage detailed project programmes, ensuring alignment with key milestones and statutory approval timelines.
- Risk and Change Management: Monitor project performance, proactively identifying and managing risks, issues, and changes through structured change control procedures, risk workshops, and the maintenance of comprehensive risk registers.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and smooth project delivery.
- Client and Site Engagement: Coordinate and facilitate client meetings and site visits, ensuring that all actions are accurately recorded, tracked, and implemented in a timely manner.
- Project Documentation and Reporting: Assist in preparing essential project documentation, including execution plans, schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
- Contract and Commercial Support: Support contract and commercial administration activities.
- Professional Development: Learn and apply project management tools, techniques, and best practices, contributing to continuous improvement and personal growth.
Who we’re looking for
A talented Graduate with a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or above to work in a growing team of Project Managers. We’ll sponsor your training plan over the course of your programme.
You’ll have ambition, vision, enthusiasm and the drive to keep on developing your technical skills and achieve professional status relevant to your chosen specialist technical area (including but not limited to RICS, IEMA, CIBSE, IAM). With a passion for working in a fully inclusive consultancy environment, you’ll want to work with clients and with teams who deliver to their customers.
You’ll be adaptable and a confident decision maker with excellent communication and team-working skills. You will also have the ability to apply your technical knowledge to analyse problems and create innovative solutions.
