Overview

Your Role
As part of the Water & Wastewater and Construction Management teams in our Vancouver office, you will play a key role on construction projects as we build essential infrastructure. Typical responsibilities include:
- Provide resident construction oversight for water infrastructure projects.
- Conduct regular meetings with the Contractor, Engineer, and Owner; prepare minutes and track action items
- Monitor construction schedule and work with the Contractor to avoid and/or mitigate delays
- Monitor the Contractor's safety program and implementation
- Coordinate Engineer inspections and third-party testing
- Support Quality Assurance and document Non-Conformance
- Implement and maintain a change order management system
- Coordinate RFIs and Submittals
- Review RFI and Submittals as needed from the Owner's perspective
- Monitor construction costs and support progress payment evaluations
- Prepare monthly reports to summarize Contractor progress, performance, and costs
- Coordinate testing and commissioning activities

About You
- Bachelor's degree or Technologist diploma in Civil Engineering, Process Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience as a construction coordinator, assistant CM, or similar role (strong preference for Canadian or American experience)
- Engineer, EIT, or technologist with 4-10 years of experience, with minimum 1 year in construction
- Strong ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing
- Able to commit to full days on-site, typically 4-5 days per week
- Reliable site presence and committed to meeting deadlines
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

Expected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $75 600- $108 675 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
