Your role
- Lead the delivery of commissioning and related services for new building construction projects of varying types, sizes, and complexities.
- Support the commissioning team in generation of technical documents including commissioning plan, specifications to suite project requirement.
- Direct and document commissioning and related testing activities.
- Organize project commissioning meetings and provide technical guidance to the project stakeholders.
- Conducting test studies on equipment and processes to assess compliance with requirements.
- Analysis of test data and collection of samples, where required.
- Evaluate the installation and functional performance of building systems to optimize efficiency.
- Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot building systems during commissioning phases.
- Provide recommendations on equipment/process for operational readiness.
- Collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Contribute to refining internal processes and documentation.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and secure new projects.
- Provide general support to the Commissiong, Compliance, Testing & Verification team to meet department goals and objectives.
- Adhere to rules and procedures that ensure health, safety & environment as well as prevention of workplace incidents. Furthermore, in a context of continuous improvement, be proactive in improving health, safety & environment rules and procedures to prevent potential hazards related to your work.

About you
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related Science program.
- Minimum of 8 years relevant work experience in commissioning.
- Possession of a recognized commissioning certification such as Certified Building Commissioning Professional (CBCP), Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP), or an equivalent credential demonstrating expertise in commissioning processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong attention to detail regarding documentation.
- Knowledge and experience with automated/computerized systems is an asset.
- Proficient in English (oral/written), French knowledge (an asset).
- Well organized, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Flexible with the proven ability to prioritize and work to deadlines.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite.
- Must be mobile within the Greater Toronto Area.
Expected compensation for this role is between Pay Range 93,800 to 129,000 annually. (Only Applicable to Ontario). Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers .
