Overview

As part of our Geotechnical team, you will contribute to impactful infrastructure and development projects while working alongside experienced engineers, geoscientists, and technical specialists. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated early-career professional looking to build a rewarding engineering career through field investigations, technical analysis, and project delivery.
Your Role
- Coordinate and execute geotechnical field programs, including drilling investigations, test pitting, permit applications, and utility locate requests
- Install and monitor geotechnical instrumentation, including standpipe piezometers, vibrating wire piezometers, and slope inclinometers
- Supervise subcontractors and subconsultants to support safe and efficient project execution
- Prepare technical reports by documenting field activities, interpreting field and laboratory data, and developing conclusions and recommendations
- Maintain knowledge of applicable provincial and federal regulations, guidance, and industry best practices
- Contribute to proposal development, work planning, and collaboration across multidisciplinary project teams
- Provide support for geotechnical quality control testing, earthworks performance evaluation, and site investigations across British Columbia
About You
- Ability to coordinate and support field-based geotechnical engineering projects
- Proficiency in technical report writing, data management, data interpretation, and analysis
- Ability to supervise subcontractors and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Aptitude for organization, attention to detail, and effective written and verbal communication
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout British Columbia, supported by a valid driver's license and clean driver abstract

Expected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $70,000 - $85,000 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
