Overview
The Manager, Quality Assurance – Internal Audits reports to the Director Quality Assurance - Management Assessment and TPO being assigned to manage the internal audit program and support the execution of external audits.
Your role
- Prepare the internal and external annual audit program plans and its updates as required to reflect any changes to the schedule.
- Oversee and report with the implementation of internal annual audit program plan, associated corrective action plans and updates as required to reflect any changes to the schedule.
- Review all Internal audit documents including Audit Plan, Audit Reports and Audit Checklist.
- Ensure that auditor qualification record is documented, maintained and up to date; meeting the requirements for re-qualification, in a timely manner.
- Oversee and report the status of the internal audit actions.
- Assign internal audit team personnel who are not directly responsible for the area being audited to perform the quality audit.
- Assign personnel for analyses of audit data and corrective action(s) taken.
- Manage Quality Assurance staffing requirements and qualified resources for execution of internal audits.

About you
- University degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 - 15 years practical experience in a relevant nuclear field.
- Working Knowledge of CSA N285.0, CSA N299, CSA N286-12, CSA N286.7, ISO 9001, 10CFR50 and ASME Code.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of procedures, process, and quality auditing techniques.
- Demonstrated leadership and the ability to make a substantial contribution to the definition and implementation of the internal audit program.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Must process sound judgment and diplomacy in managing tasks.
- Strong verbal/written communication skills and effectiveness in interpersonal relationships.
